Drawing Fundamentals Wednesdays: 6 CLASSES : OCT - DEC

Learning how to draw just became easier with step-by-step instruction from our talented drawing instructor! Classes will focus on developing basic drawing skills from direct observation and lighted still life arrangements. Students will learn how to create the illusion of form through the use of shape, perspective and tonal value. Critiques develop students' abilities to think critically about their own work and maintaining their art journal will allow students to record thoughts, experiment with ideas, media, and practice ideas. Each session lasts for six weeks allowing basic skills to build over time. This program is ideal for beginners, as well as more advanced students. Students are asked to bring their own supplies. See supply list below. Drawing classes will be held once a week from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at ArtsConnect Springfield Township Community Arts Center, 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, the building behind the fire station.
