TRG's 5th Birthday Party Celebration!
Temple of the Rebel Goddess IS TURNING 5!
Five years of experimenting, creating, celebrating, fucking around and finding out what happens when you make a home for the Divine in all Her/His/Their many forms.
This isn’t a sit-down-and-watch-us-do-something kind of party. Wander. Eat. Play. Make things. Pull cards. Leave your mark. Visit the altar. Reminisce with us. Meet somebody new. Help us dream about what comes next.
Throughout the Temple, you’ll find little pockets of play and devotion:
A community mandala happening in the altar room, games and oracle card stations, temporary tattoos and gemstones for adorning yourself, a friendship bracelet making station, music, food and more!
We’ll be looking both backwards and forwards with a throwback slideshow with quotes from one of our very first gatherings. It was 2019 when we were Rebel Goddess Reclamation and we had our first event in Dayton. This was before we had the Temple space, when She was still just a dream in the ether, brewing in the womb of possibility. A little nostalgia and lore for the current community to see the seeds She sprouted from.
And now that we’re heading into our next year, we want to hear what YOU think. There will be a Community Voice Box for your ideas, wishes, feedback, and whatever else you think TRG needs to hear. What do you want more of? What have you loved? What weird, beautiful thing should we try next? Share your voice and help us imagine the evolution of the TRG.
Other things to know:
\-For the COMMUNITY MANDALA, please bring some natural or decorative elements to contribute… some leaves or flower petals or acorns or whatever to share!
\-It’s a POTLUCK! Bring something you’d offer the Divine to eat. It doesn’t need to be fancy—just something made or chosen with love to share.
\-What to wear? ATTIRE should fall somewhere near dressing in celebration of the Divine. Get a little fancy, or a lot fancy.
Come celebrate 5 years of TRG, and help us welcome in year 6.
