Artful Mondays
October’s Artful Mondays session will feature paper marbling.
Paper marbling is a decorative art form that creates colorful, swirling patterns by floating paints or inks on a thickened water base (size) and transferring them onto paper or fabric. The technique involves dropping colors onto the surface, manipulating them with tools, and creating unique, non-repeating designs. Marbled paper is often used in bookbinding, card-making and fine art.
All paper and marbling supplies will be provided during the program, along with ideas, samples, and instructions to help inspire your creations. If you already have experience with marbling and own supplies, you are welcome to bring them.
Feel free to bring your own materials, projects, or ideas to work on and share with others.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Parma Branch Libraries.
