Social Media and Your Job Search
This hybrid program will be held virtually on Zoom and in-person in Conference Room 124 located inside the Parma Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library. Presented by Cuyahoga County Public Library's Cuyahoga Works: Job & Career Services.
Now more than ever, recruiters and employers are using social media to market their companies, advertise employment opportunities, research candidates, and communicate with potential candidates. Join us to learn about popular social media platforms that job seekers and employers use, both for the purpose of creating a professional online presence and brand and using it to find what they want. While it is not required, it would be helpful to be familiar with different social media or at least be open to learning about them with the understanding that you will have to test them out to see if they will benefit you. Registration is required.
An email address is required in order to receive the link to join via Zoom. A link will be emailed to registered participants within 24 hours of the program. You will need a device with audio and/or video and a reliable internet connection to join.
