McFarland Caring Quilts Gallery Opening & Reception
McFarland Caring Quilts Project
McFarland Caring Quilts Project was developed by the E.D. Locke Public Library and McFarland Senior Outreach. Its goal is to engage older adults in creative, collaborative crafting to make beautiful, functional textiles for community members in need.
We are excited to show off the fruits of YOUR labor with a gallery opening and reception on Saturday, November 7, 10 AM-12 PM. Stop by the library community room to grab some light refreshments, and sign up to win a door prize (all lovingly made by our quilting volunteers). Listen to a short presentation at 10:30, recognizing the hard work and dedication of the people of McFarland. Walk through the library to see all the quilts made by YOU and for YOUR community members in need.
