Museum of Becoming: First-Look Beta

Museum of Becoming is inviting a small group of Chicagoans to experience the first beta of a new immersive group arts experience at Wirtz Center Chicago at Northwestern University in Streeterville.

Designed around creativity, authentic social connection, reflection, and personal growth, Museum of Becoming combines facilitated arts-wellness exercises with structured small-group interactions.

During the experience, participants will be invited to explore something that matters to them personally and take one meaningful step toward it through creative exercises and guided reflection. Participants will also have opportunities to meet and connect with others through structured social activities in small groups.

The experience is coordinated by a professional trained in art therapy. Museum of Becoming is an arts and wellness experience and is not therapy or mental-health treatment.

This November 1 event is the first public beta of the Museum of Becoming concept. Because this is an early test of the experience, participation is limited and invite-only. Participants will be asked to provide genuine feedback afterward so the Museum of Becoming team can continue refining the experience.

Permission to take photographs and video during the event will also be requested.
