"Caring For You" ~ Free Workshop for Caregivers ~ Held at Recreation Station through the Children's Resource Center-West
This workshop is provided FREE through the Children's Resource Center West. In this workshop, caregivers will learn real-life strategies to recharge while caring for children.
This free event is focused on parents or unpaid caregivers of a child (ages 0-21) with special needs-including physical, developmental, and mental health, living in one of the following Wisconsin counties:
Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Trempealeau, or Washburn.

*Especially for families of children with special health care needs, but ANYONE who cares for children is encouraged to attend.
Participants will:
Learn what compassion fatigue is and how to avoid it.
Experience simple practices to build resilience and recharge.
Discover ways to sneak these practices into your busy days.
Create a personal plan to ensure you have energy left for you!
