Lennon Stella
Lennon Stella Presents: Sleeping Lion Up Close & Personal Live For The First Time in Nashville, TN at The Blue Room 'Sleeping Lion' is Lennon Stella’s second record, but it feels like an introduction. The title’s image of dormant strength aptly summarizes the journey that the 27-year-old singer-songwriter has been on for six years. Listeners first met Lennon through the viral YouTube covers she made with her sister, Maisy. The pair also earned widespread recognition as stars of ABC's music drama Nashville. The show concluded in 2018 and Lennon focused on her solo career, releasing her debut EP, Love, me. After her 2020 full-length Three. Two. One, Stella needed to take a second to get to know herself. Sleeping Lion is the result of this moment of quiet. In a full-circle moment, Stella made the album with Andy Shauf, a Canadian singer-songwriter whose music is among her all-time favorites. “This record is a return to myself in many ways” Stella says. The album captures an awakening as Stella embraces her own agency and explores her own insecurities with empathy and curiosity. 'Sleeping Lion' is out October 23rd
