Addressing Behavior Challenges: Helping Kids With Self Regulation
All behavior happens for a reason. Participants will learn about self regulation and how to recognize behavior as communication. We will discuss strategies to support self regulation in the classroom and during transitions. Library staff will demonstrate storytime techniques and share read aloud books that help kids develop self regulation skills. This is a continuing education workshop for early childhood educators. Wisconsin Registry credit available. Parents and caregivers are welcome.
