Join the Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter on November 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Michigan Nature Association Bldg (2310 Science Pkwy, Okemos, MI 48864) for an important talk entitled "Coming in Hot: New Invasive Species to be Aware of".

Our guest speaker, Dr. Shikha Singh, Coordinator for the Jackson County Conservation District - JLW CISMA (Jackson, Lenawee and Washtenaw Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area), will teach us about invasive plants such as stiltgrass, mile-a-minute weed, lesser celandine, and others that are on the move in lower Michigan. Learning to prevent, identify, and report these plants is important to help protect our local ecosystems. This event is free and open to the public.
