Dig into Cincinnati’s prehistoric past! Participants will discover how fossils are formed and travel back in time to explore what Cincinnati looked like during the Ordovician Period. Using fossils found right here in the area, we’ll uncover some of Ohio’s most fascinating fossils, including ancient creatures with surprising similarities to organisms living today! Then, get hands-on and create your very own fossil cast using Play-Doh and plaster-of-Paris to take home.
