Join The Poppy Pair at Grove City Brewing Company in Grove City, Ohio for Mahj 102, a relaxed, social evening of American Mah Jongg designed to help newer players learn, practice, and get more comfortable around the table.

You do NOT have to be a Mah Jongg expert—or even an experienced player—to join us. Beginners are welcome! Whether you’re continuing what you learned in Mahj 101, have played a little before, or are simply ready to jump in and learn, Mahj 102 gives you a friendly environment to build your skills while actually enjoying the game.

The Poppy Pair will guide players through the fundamentals of play, helping take some of the mystery out of the tiles, rules, and strategy. Expect plenty of learning, questions, laughs, friendly competition, and those inevitable “Ohhh… NOW I get it!” moments.

And because this is happening at Grove City Brewing Co., your Mahj night comes with something even better than homework: good pours and good company.

Come by yourself or bring a friend. Mah Jongg is all about gathering around the table, meeting people, and having fun—and you don’t need to arrive with your own group to participate.
