Wujeria

Wujeria is the secret universe and personal diary of Frances Dunlap. The alternative rock/trip- hop project was recorded and created over the course of a few years in Frances’ bedroom in Dayton, OH. Mixed and Mastered by her father James Dunlap, the self-titled album was released October 2025. 15 tracks that shoot the listener into a dizzy dream realm with larger-than-life guitars and a voice with angel wings. Wujeria tells the story of falling in love with the universe as a lost alien in the Midwest. Imagery of childhood nostalgia paired with illustrations of flying creatures, flowers, and trees create a new but familiar place. The project has recently started playing live as a four-piece lead by Frances, with Leo on lead guitar, Brent on bass and Hamilton on drums.

Whimsy with a bite. Songs to spin endlessly to. Wujeria is for alien brains.
