CARE Open House & Resource Fair

The KU Lifespan Institute's Center for the Advancement of Research on Eating Behaviors (CARE) opens its doors at its new home in Youngberg Hall. Drop in to visit information stations on CARE's eating disorder research, meet the researchers behind it, and connect with local providers and community organizations sharing resources at tables throughout the event. Free and open to the KU and Lawrence communities. Light refreshments will be provided.

CARE studies how eating disorders are screened for and treated, with work spanning college students, military veterans, rural residents, and other populations underserved by existing care. A goal of this event is to bring researchers, practitioners, students, and community groups into the same room to meet each other while learning more about the work of CARE.
