Dark Curiosities: Gothic Busted Canvas

Transform an ordinary canvas into a haunting work of art with the illusion of something breaking through from another world. In this program, you'll learn the popular "busted canvas" technique to create a dramatic three-dimensional display featuring gothic imagery such as ravens, skulls, gargoyles, haunted mansions, stained-glass windows, moonlit forests, or other delightfully macabre designs. Whether your style leans elegantly Victorian or delightfully spooky, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that's perfect for displaying all year if your décor embraces the darker side.

This program is part of the all-day Dark Curiosities: Mysteries, Monsters, and the Macabre festival. Attend this session on its own or explore as many programs as you'd like throughout the day.
