Leaf Dishes with EPIC Arts Clay Studio

Bring your favorite leaves from home or find some around the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library to press into clay! Students will use the pinch pot method to create a small dish while learning how natural materials can be used to create beautiful textures and patterns in clay.

Each dish will be fired at EPIC’s studio and returned to the library for pickup approximately one month after the program.

This program is designed for children ages 4 and up. Children ages 9 and under must have an adult present in the classroom, but we ask that adults allow the children to create their own dishes rather than doing the project for them. Each child must register individually in order to make a clay dish.
