Conversations about the Mind

Fascination with where the mind is located, how it works and how its function becomes disordered have occupied man’s thoughts from antiquity to present. The current consensus is that (i) the mind is located largely in the limbic system of the brain, (ii) it can be interrogated in real time through electrical recording, various types of imaging and targeted conversation; and (iii) its function can be modified by pharmacology and various learning techniques used in psychiatry. Join us to explore how all of this seems to work.
