Writer's Block

Got a case of writer's block? Come to this monthly drop-in writing program where you'll receive a fresh prompt, put pen to paper and share your work in a welcoming community of fellow writers. No experience necessary. No judgment. Just words on a page and good company. Show up, write something and see what happens.

Special guest on Oct. 10's Writer's Block: Join acclaimed author, historian and citizen of the Choctaw nation Devon A. Mihesuah at two of our monthly programs. First, bring your creativity to Writer's Block, where Mihesuah will share a prompt and connect with participants as they put pen to paper. Whether you're a writer, reader or both, these programs offer a unique opportunity to engage with an award-winning author. Mihesuah will also be a guest at Oct. 17's Book Discussion of her book, "The Hatak Witches", at Merriam Plaza Library.
