2026 Piano Student Showcase

In 2002, Missouri Symphony League member Georgia Morehouse attended a small fundraiser at the Missouri Theatre and witnessed something unforgettable—a young student, barely visible behind the piano, filling the room with extraordinary music. In that moment, she recognized what MOSY continues to believe today: young musicians deserve a stage where their talent can be seen and heard.

The Piano Student Showcase was created to do exactly that.

Designed for aspiring pianists, this program celebrates excellence, builds confidence, and offers a rare opportunity to perform on the historic Missouri Theatre stage. For many students, it’s their first time stepping into a professional venue; sitting at a concert grand piano, under the lights, sharing their music with a live audience.

It’s more than a performance. It’s a milestone moment, one that transforms practice into artistry and inspires the next generation of musicians.

If you’re a young pianist ready to take the stage, this is your opportunity.
