Grand Marquis

Sail down and catch the funky brass band powerhouse, the Grand Marquis! They're playing an early show. A distinct and hearty blend of American roots influences: blues & prohibition-era jazz; weaving old stories in with new tales for the 21st century. The Grand Marquis inject a vibrant relevance into their brand of American roots music while delivering a classic, timeless 'straight-from-the-speakeasy' sound. Versatile and buoyant, distinct and refreshing - a rhythm cocktail served by masterful musical mixologists. Over the past 20 years they have logged more than 2000 performances, as far-flung as Seattle to South Beach Miami, but often in the midwest, where they call Kansas City home. 2011 International Blues Challenge Finalists 2013 Blues Foundation voted "Blues and Trouble" one of the top 3 best self-produced recordings.
