Día de los Muertos Festival: Calaveritas Night

Experience the traditions, artistry and spirit of Día de los Muertos throughout The Delmar Loop. This district-wide, free celebration brings together cultural experiences, live entertainment, art, music, food, shopping and community remembrance for an evening of discovery and celebration. The Loop comes alive for Day of the Dead with DJs, live musical and dance performances, and strolling entertainment throughout the evening. Featured programming will include the Ballet Ollin dancers, the Mariachi Los Reyes, stilt walkers, storytelling and a Kids Zone featuring crafts, face painting, performers and more.

The heart of this year’s festival is Calaveritas Night, an interactive experience that invites visitors to explore participating businesses throughout The Loop in search of hidden calaveritas or “tiny skulls.” Visitors who find a designated number of the calaveritas can enter a drawing through the Loop Passport App for a chance to win one of three $250 cash prizes.
