Homeschool Adventures: American Myths and Legends

Join us for 12 Wednesdays this fall as we celebrate America 250 all semester long! We’ll journey across America and back through time with books, one-of-a-kind experiences and activities to transport us to our American past!

This week – American Myths and Legends– The words myth and legend make us think of Greek and Roman gods. But did you know America has its very own larger than life heroes and villains? Join us for a one-of-a kind telling of the first and spookiest American myth - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! Then, create your own shadow theatre to take home and make your storytelling skills legendary!

*We'll keep this story relatively gentle, but some kiddos could still find it scary. Parents should decide if this story may upset their child.

Homeschool Adventures sessions and activities are suited most toward homeschooling families with children between the ages of 6-12. A grown-up must stay with and help direct students during all parts of the program, so younger and older siblings are welcome to join in on the adventure.

No registration required. Supplies are limited. Homeschool Adventures is not a drop-off program.
