Storm Water Reading & Art Contest

Inspire action with art! Join Sanitation District No.1 and KCPL to help design a bookmark to spread storm water awareness, and win prizes in the process! Pick up a reading log at any KCPL location through the month of October. Read three books related to water, storm water, or water pollution (check out our Blog for a list of suggested titles!) and list them on the log. Create a bookmark design in the space provided on the back of the log and submit it to any KCPL location by November 1, 2026. Your art might be printed and distributed as bookmarks by KCPL and SD1! One winner each in grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 will be selected, and will also receive eco-friendly prizes!
