St. Patrick's Cathedral comes to Nashville
Dr. Jennifer Pascual, the principal organist and director of music at St. Patrick's Cathedral, NYC, performs on the new pipe organ at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.
Appointed Director of Music at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City in 2003, she is the first woman to hold this position, one of the most prominent sacred music appointments in the United States. In 2008, she had the privilege of overseeing all of the liturgical music for His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI during his Pastoral Visit to New York in addition to conducting music for the Masses at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Yankee Stadium and the Ecumenical Service at St. Joseph’s Church. She was named a Dame of the Order of St. Gregory the Great in recognition of her service to the Church. Dr. Pascual holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree in Organ Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music.
“We’re excited to present Dr. Pascual in recital and hope this will be the first of many world-class artists we bring in to share great sacred music with the Nashville. The new organ is energized by cathedral’s architecture—it’s one of the only churches in the city where you find a ‘European cathedral acoustic’ which brings organ and choral music to life.”
Dr. Pascual will present a variety of music to show off the many colors of the celebrated new Goulding and Wood pipe organ at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The program begins at 7:30pm on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The concert is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45pm. Come early for good seat selection.
