Evening Sessions: 1969: Killers, Freaks, and Radicals

Join us for a screening of 1969: Killers, Freaks, and Radicals, a Michigan made documentary, followed by a Q+A with Director Andrew Templeton, an independent filmmaker from the Detroit area.

Amid the radical politics and cultural upheaval of the late 1960s, a series of brutal murders targeting young women terrorized the twin university towns of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Michigan. Frustrations mounted at the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, as local police seemed increasingly unable to stop the killer - or killers - responsible.

An independent documentary exploring the unique social atmosphere of the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area in a divisive time period that reflects many of the most important social issues of today.
