D.E.C.O.D.E. Democracy

D.E.C.O.D.E. Democracy is a nonpartisan youth civic literacy initiative that brings

civic education into schools and youth organizations in a way that feels practical

rather than intimidating. Students learn how their local, state, and federal

governments work and how they can make sense of the information they

encounter every day. Most importantly, they learn that having a voice does not

begin with casting a ballot.

This event is non-partisan and presented by Janhavi Ramekar who working under the Miss Michigan Service Initiative to bring this program to the Auburn Hills Community for free.
