I Read Dead People: A Literary Ghost Walk (7:15 PM)

The dead are rising again at the Canton Public Library—but this year, they’re bringing some familiar characters with them!

During this special after-hours event, a tour guide will take you on a journey through literary history, where famous authors and the unforgettable characters they created come to life for one night only. Meet the minds behind some of literature’s most memorable stories—and hear what their creations have to say for themselves.

What inspired these authors? How did their characters take on lives of their own? And what happens when creators come face-to-face with the monsters, witches, vampires, detectives and other unforgettable figures they unleashed upon the world?

Cider and donuts will be available once the dead—and their creations—have departed.

There will be three tours with staggered starting times at 7:00 PM, 7:15 PM and 7:30 PM. Please register for one appointment only. This experience will last approximately one hour.

Please note: This program is for adults and teens. Please do not register children under 12.

Due to increased interest in this program we have set up a waitlist. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so that others may join.
