Twisted History: Titanic (ages 11-13)

Students aged 11-13 who enjoy history and literature are invited to join us and explore various history topics. First, Twisted History will introduce participants to a topic and its surrounding ideas. From there, participants will be given a craft or activity to solidify their knowledge and challenge their critical thinking. Challenging, unusual and different, these programs are a great way to learn history and literature in the most fun way possible.

For this month's Twisted History, we'll be learning about the disaster of the Titanic. What happened on that frightful morning in 1912? What went wrong with the world's greatest ship? How did the world change because of it? And what would you do in that situation?

Participants will learn the Twisted History of the world's most famous shipwreck and get a chance to create their own model ship.
