Mythology Book Club

Join us for a lively discussion about ancient mythology! Our book for December is The Women of Artemis by Hannah Lynn. After years of living in destitution with her abusive husband, Otrera rallies the women around her, and builds a new life with other women far from the reaches of their abusers. But a community of women – an army of women – is bound to make enemies of gods and men alike. This is the story of Otrera and the first Amazons. Come to the meeting with questions, comments, observations, or just have a copy of the book with you! No pressure, and a good time learning about mythology is guaranteed! The e-book is available on the Hoopla library app using your valid library card at: https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/18639442, and the audiobook is also available at: https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/18649714. You may also call the Reference Desk at 989-755-0904 to request a physical copy. This book club meets at Barnes & Noble in Saginaw, 3311 Tittabawassee Road, Saginaw MI 48604. Please note that this meeting is one week earlier than it usually is to avoid the holiday.
