Mythology Book Club

Join us for a lively discussion about ancient Greek mythology! Our book for October is A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes. A Thousand Ships is a retelling of the Iliad, one of the foundational texts of Western literature. But this time, the story is told from the perspective of the women: the lovers, wives, mothers, grandmothers, and goddesses who lived the story. Come to the meeting with questions, comments, observations, or just have a copy of the book with you! No pressure, and a good time learning about mythology is guaranteed! The e-book is available on the Hoopla app using your library card at: https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/13371136, and the audiobook is also available at: https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/13361830.
