Early Reader Book Club

Is your child ready to graduate from story time? What comes next? Join us for a monthly book club that will help bridge beginning readers from story times to book clubs. Designed for readers in grades K-2.

Each month, we’ll all read the same book in advance. Books can be borrowed from the Novi Public Library or placed on hold through our shared library cooperative. While participants should try to read the book before the session, we’ll also read the story together during the program.

Readers will participate in circle-time style group discussions, followed by an activity or craft inspired by the book. Children are encouraged to attend the book club independently, but caregivers must remain in the Library during the program.
