Finding a Publisher and Getting Published with Patti Heisler, author of _Boondocks Bride_

Local author Patti Heisler will share her experiences in creating and publishing her debut novel, Boondocks Bride, a contemporary romance which was released July 2026 by Cupid's Arrow Publishing. Her book, Boondocks Bride, transports readers to a small Minnesota community just before Christmas time with a story that explores the idea of having one's livelihood and home suddenly taken from them, not wanting to disappoint a loved one, and trying to imagine something different than the only career you've ever known. Heisler recently retired from the North Dakota University System, and currently she teaches online courses at the University of MN-Crookston. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
