NSF CAREER Proposal Workshop

Helping pre-tenure faculty prepare competitive proposals for the National Science Foundation's Faculty Early Career Development Program is the focus of a December workshop. Registration is required.

The workshop will be held from 10 am-3\:30pm CST in the Nebraska Union, Prairie Suite. The workshop is free and open to UNL, UNO, UNK and UNMC faculty.

UNL's Office of Research and Innovation annually sponsors an early career award workshop to provide prospective applicants with proposal writing advice specific to the NSF CAREER program. Dr. Amy Myrbo, of Amiable Consulting, will lead the workshop. Dr. Myrbo has 17 years of experience building two National Science Foundation-funded multi-user facilities at the University of Minnesota. She will discuss the basics of the NSF CAREER program and present strategies for planning and positioning yourself for success in writing a CAREER proposal.

The workshop includes a complementary lunch.
