Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Workshop
Join instructor Alexis Espinoza-Arrubla as she leads a workshop on yoga and mindfulness for kids! This workshop offers a fun, engaging way for children and their caregivers to build body awareness, practice self-regulation skills and enhance overall well-being through practices such as yoga, mindful movement, games, relaxation techniques and arts + crafts. Limited yoga mats will be available, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or blanket.
About the Instructor:
Alexis Espinoza-Arrubla, M.S., E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP is a trauma informed kids yoga and adult yoga educator, who specializes in nervous system wellness helping children and adults develop and enhance self-regulation skills through movement, relaxation and creative activities.
Parents/caregivers must remain with their child(ren) for the duration of the program and are encouraged to help younger children with the activity.
This is a free event for kids 6-10 years old. Registration is required and opens Oct. 1.
