Bookbinding Workshop

Join teaching artist, Chelsea Herman as she guides you through the stab binding technique! Learn about the variations of this non-adhesive binding style that originated in China, Japan, and Korea, then bind your own custom book.

This traditional binding is ideal for artwork, poetry, and working creatively with thin, translucent, or handmade papers. Hardcover variations are well suited for heavier weight papers or photo albums. All materials are provided.
