The Genealogy Proof Standard According to Sherlock Holmes
When you research your family history do you feel like a detective?—identifying the known, gathering new evidence to solve the unknown, separating the “wheat from the chaff,” analyzing the evidence and correlating it with your other findings. Sherlock Holmes, the great detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, provided us with his thoughts about detective work that is directly applicable to what we, as genealogists, do. Who knew Sherlock followed the Genealogical Proof Standard!?
This program will be presented virtually via Zoom and will be recorded. Registration is required, and closes 24 hours before the event begins. A link to the Zoom meeting and a handout will be emailed to registrants the evening before the program.
