FUNdamentals of Science Sparks Fly with Edgerton Explorit Center

Get Ready for Mind-Blowing Science Fun at the Norfolk Public Library!

Families and young scientists — join us for an exciting science event with the Edgerton Explorit Center! You’ll be amazed by FUNdamentals of Science where young scientists must use their senses and communicate their observations about similarities and differences between several types of balls as well as see other ways to gather information.

Then get ready for Sparks Fly where you'll learn how energy moves in simple experiments, some of which are even a little “shocking” and “hair-raising”… but always fun!

This free event is perfect for families and kids of all ages — come learn, laugh, and be wowed by the wonders of science!

The library has a Safe Child Policy to help ensure a safe and fun experience for your child.

Children ages 7 and under must have a caregiver (16 years) in the room.

Children ages 8-9 need a caregiver in the building.

Children ages 10 can join us on their own provided they can follow the library's Code of Conduct independently.
