Pioneers Park Nature Center presents Wild Fall Festival

Pioneers Park Nature Center invites families, nature enthusiasts, and community members to celebrate the changing seasons and Bison Day at the annual Wild Fall Festival, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 7. The event is FREE and open to all ages.

The Wild Fall Festival highlights the nature, history, and wildlife of the tallgrass prairie through hands‑on activities, guided exploration, and educational experiences led by staff and volunteers. This year’s festival offers a full schedule of engaging opportunities, including:

· Workshops focused on bison and native prairie plants

· Wagon rides for ages 3+ ($5/person)

· Animal meet‑and‑greets with turtles and snakes,

· Nature activities, art projects, and story times

· Guided nature exploration

· Tours of historic buildings areas

The event provides a unique chance for visitors to connect with the prairie landscape and learn about the role of bison in Nebraska’s natural heritage. With activities suited for families, children, and adults, the festival encourages community members to celebrate fall outdoors.
