Briana Mazzolini-Blanchard belongs to the Chamoru People from the Island Nation of Guåhan. She is an Indigenous artist, community organizer, and the Executive Director for the Urban Native Collective, dedicating her career to visual sovereignty, intentional representation, and community-centered storytelling. As a leader in contemporary art curation and advocacy, her work focuses on breaking institutional systems and establishing dedicated spaces that amplify Indigenous and underrepresented artists.

For art students looking to pave traditional or non-traditional career paths, Briana will share her experience as an executive director, artist, curator, and community advocate. This conversation will focus on the practical and radical sides of turning creative passion into community-centered initiatives, offering a space of dialogue for students looking to make an impact inside or outside of the art world.
