Paint & Sip ~ Winslow Homer Style

Known for his depictions of coastal scenes at home and abroad, 19th Century American Winslow Homer traveled widely, painting the beauty of the wilderness in its many forms. When he wasn’t at his studio, first in New York City and later in Maine, Homer was often producing paintings; England, Cuba, Florida, and many other diverse locales attracted his eye. Homer experimented with composition using his hallmark vivid palette and fluid brushstrokes. You will have a finished art piece by the conclusion of the program. Instructor Russ Vossler will paint along with the participants, giving guidance step-by-step in the copying of a painting. Supplies and refreshments provided. Adult and Young Adult. Registration required.
