Hangin' Out Book Club: Braiding Sweetgrass

Join us outdoors at Indian Mound Reserve for a relaxing hammock book club. Registration required.

---

Slow down, sway gently, and sink into story and science. Surrounded by trees and fresh air, we'll reflect on selected readings from Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer that weave together Indigenous wisdom, ecology, and our reciprocal relationships with the natural world.

If a hammock is not your thing - that's OK! Just bring a blanket or a camping chair that you don't mind carrying approximately half a mile!

Step away, kick back, and crack open a good book. Enjoy quiet reading time, casual conversation, and an outdoor escape that is equal parts cozy and refreshing! Don't forget something to drink!

Books will be available for pickup at the Cedarville Community Library or Greene County Parks & Trails - the choice is yours!

This program is in partnership with Greene County Parks & Trails.
