Pick Your Own Geode at Copper Moon

Copper Moon Studio in Holland hosts Pick Your Own Geode on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registered guests of all ages can choose a raw geode collected in Indiana by local rockhound Sarah Nidek-Eberle of Stoned by Medusa, then watch as she cuts it open to reveal the crystals inside. Geodes range from $20 to $80 and are available on a first come, first served basis; cutting takes approximately 3 to 10 minutes, so guests do not need to stay for the full two hours. An RSVP is required to attend.
