96.3XKE Presents: Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band - Ledbetter Heights 30th Anniversary Tour

In an era when grunge dominated the cultural conversation, Kenny Wayne Shepherd emerged with a sound unapologetically rooted in blues. With fiery fretwork, pop-rock hooks, and a deep reverence for the genre, his arrival as a Strat-wielding teenager cut through the noise and connected with a new generation of listeners. Three decades later, and the platinum-selling, GRAMMY-nominated guitarist remains as vital as ever. No longer a teenage prodigy, but a master - touring, recording, collaborating, and evolving.

Shepherd’s latest tour is a 30th anniversary celebration of “Ledbetter Heights,” the album that first put him on the map and established him as a torchbearer of blues. A restless creative, Shepherd’s staying power stems from a refusal to stand still. While the spirit and energy of the original recording remain intact, the anniversary tour reflects a new take, featuring the nuance and intention that only comes after years of touring, recording, and collaboration.
