Ohio State Band

LIMA — The full 251-person Ohio State University Band will visit Lima on Oct. 28. The band will perform at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square, Lima, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. performance.

According to Margaret Young, OSU-Lima’s dean, she and Kayla Zehery, the university’s director of development, have been working to bring the band to Lima for three years. Tickets are sold at $25 for adults over 18 and $20 for college students and guests under 18.

Young said any revenue generated will fund scholarships for OSU-Lima students in good academic standing.

“The tickets are low so they’re accessible but also support our students and make OSU-Lima more affordable,” Young said.

Tickets are sold at limaciviccenter.com/tbdbitl. Groups of six or more should call the box office directly at 419-224-1552 to purchase tickets.
