1900 Farm Dinners
Imagine yourself in 1900, visiting your grandparents’ farmhouse for a hearty home-cooked meal. That’s the experience of a Historic Dinner at the 1900 Farm. Start your visit by cozying up to the wood-burning stove in the parlor and learning how this family would have lived and worked. Then we’ll call you into the homey kitchen for a delicious meal prepared using historic recipes. Before dessert, you can make a lantern-lit visit to the historic 1889 barn, or stay inside and keep warm while you play a game of checkers or try the pump organ. Meals are served family-style, so everyone at the table eats from the same menu. Main course (chicken or pork) depends on date.
