Great Pumpkin Hunt

The Great Pumpkin Hunt with Bloomington Parks & Recreation returns!

Pumpkins decorated by our friends at SOAR (Special Opportunities Available in Recreation) have been hidden throughout our Bloomington Parks for you and your family/friends to find! 🎃

Oct. 2-Oct. 29 (Winners will be announced on Oct. 30)

Rules:

🎃Every Friday in October, starting October 2, two clues will be posted on the Great Pumpkin Hunt Facebook event page.

✨ There will be a total of eight clues given throughout the month.

✨ Each clue will take you to a different park.

✨ Please note: All parks will be in the City of Bloomington’s Parks System.

🎃 Visit each park that you are given clues for within the timeframe. Friday at 11:00 AM through the following Thursday at 9:00 AM. Signs will be taken down and replaced for the next set of clues.

✨ Ex: Clue for Friday, October 2: The Great Pumpkin Hunt signs will be in the chosen parks from October 2 at 11:00 AM through Thursday, October 8, at 9:00 AM.

🎃 During your park visit, locate the Great Pumpkin Hunt sign, along with a pumpkin decorated by our friends at SOAR within the park.

✨ Post a picture of yourself (and/or friends and family) in front of the sign and pumpkin on our Facebook page in the comment box of the Original Clue Post on the event page.

- Each picture will count as one (1) entry for the prize drawing.

📣 Please note: Groups can have one (1) entry per park. Groups can have a maximum of eight entries.

🎃 The drawing will be on Friday, October 30, and three families will be selected. All winners will be notified in the October 30 social media post.

✨ Winners will then need to private message the BPARD Facebook account to receive instructions on how to claim prizes.

✨ The top 3 will receive a Prize Basket.
