This is a Christian tradition of the arrival of the three kings to visit the baby Jesus. However, Puerto </span><span>rican</span><span> culture celebrates in their own unique way. </span><span>There are parades, and children will leave boxes of hay under their beds for the camels to eat.</span><span> This event </span><span>will be a </span><span>meditative break for students before finals. There will be crafts that represent important </span><span>parts of this event: crown making and star ornaments for the three kings, card making highlighting the focus on connecting with those far away, and a "camel box"</span><span> filled with positive affirmations to bring into the coming year. Additionally, there will be hot chocolate and a king cake. The king cake is a cake traditionally eaten, with a hidden plastic baby inside of it. Whoever gets the plastic baby traditionally </span><span>has to</span><span> make the cake for next year, </span><span>but in this </span><span>case</span><span> we will be rewarding the lucky student with a small prize.</span></p>
