Know Your Neighbors: A Walk Through the Chippewa Valley's Storied Indigenous History
Kick off this Native American Heritage Month with a walk through time, Indigenous cultures and communities! This exhibit aims to share the stories of Native peoples through a sweeping, yet locally rooted tour through history. So come, enlighten yourself and hear the impact that Indigenous peoples of the past and present have on the land that we now share.There will be an opening program and reception from 1-3 pm on November 2, and the exhibit will be up to view on third floor of the Davies Student Center all November.This exhibit is contributed to and supported by University Special Collections and Archives, Multicultural Student Services, the American Indian Studies Program, and UW - Eau Claire's Tribal Consultation Committee.
