The nursing profession has a long history of driving change through innovation. Join the UW-Eau Claire College of Nursing and Dr. Oriana Beaudet, DNP, RN, FAAN, Vice President of Innovation for the American Nurses Association Enterprise, as she explores how nurses can shape culture, lead transformation, and reimagine the future of nursing. She will lead the following events:Keynote address "Nursing Innovation in Uncertain Times" by Dr. Beaudet Thursday, October 22, in the Ojibwe Ballroom (Room 330), Davies Center Doors open at 5:30 pm; keynote address at 6:00 pm. Dr. Beaudet's doctoral work focused on nurse-led innovation and how innovation and power structures can be used to shift culture, behavior, and practices to advance nurses and the nursing profession. Reception to follow, and light refreshments will be served after the event. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, emeriti, faculty, staff, community partners, and the public.
