Meet With a Dementia Care Specialist
Every county in Wisconsin has a Dementia Care Specialist at the ADRC to assist individuals and families living with dementia to remain as active and independent as possible in the community and provide consultation for challenges related to caregiving.
Dementia Care Specialists also provide memory screens. A memory screen is a wellness tool that helps identify possible changes in memory and cognition.
Kathy Glaser from the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County will be at the Library to meet with people regarding how dementia is impacting their life or that of a loved one, or to complete screens. Please call her at 262-548-7354 in advance to make an appointment.
Please check in at our Second Floor Information Desk when you arrive.
This is a partner event with the Library Memory Project.
